About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body. Your primary goal will be to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by providing accurate and detailed images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by providing clear instructions and answering questions to reduce anxiety.
  • Position patients according to established protocols to ensure accurate imaging.
  • Select software options and imaging parameters on the MRI machine.
  • Initiate patient IVs and administer oral and IV contrast material.
  • Recognize changes in patient status and communicate effectively with nurses and physicians.
  • Provide documentation of individual patient care according to history and clinical information.
  • Perform daily quality assurance and quality control protocols.
  • Anticipate and recognize safety hazards, and intervene through appropriate channels.
  • Adhere to department policies and provide quality care in accordance with office policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers, patients, radiologists, and other employees.
  • Exhibit professional and ethical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to prioritize and evaluate patient care activities.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology.
  • Completion of an MRI technology certificate program.
  • Registered or registry eligible in Magnetic Resonance through ARRT.
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred.
Location and Commitments

This is a permanent part-time role based at our Greenville (Arlington) location, with a schedule of Tuesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Extra hours may be required to ensure patients are taken care of, tasks are completed, and calls are returned in a timely manner. Weekend work is rare but can occasionally be necessary.
