Medical Director

Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide direct medical care to client company employees, conducting histories and physical examinations, prescribing medications, and educating patients on medical issues. The physician will also participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives, maintain medical records, and formulate and administer health programs as needed.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients
  • Conducting occupational health services, such as post-offer physicals and medical monitoring
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of medical care and monitoring patient progress
  • Participating in the development of annual health center goals and objectives
  • Maintaining medical records and formulating health programs


The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited medical school, licensed to practice medicine in the state where the site is located, and board certified in occupational medicine, internal medicine, family practice, primary care, or emergency medicine. Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support is required, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.

Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing is essential, as well as experience with Electronic Medical Records and workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
