Position: IT Infrastructure Manager

Location: Hybrid/Remote

PVM, Inc. is on the lookout for a seasoned IT Infrastructure Manager to lead critical projects and solutions that align with our business objectives. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational processes, implementing data analytics, and driving initiatives for security and networking improvements. Your responsibilities will include the migration of outdated systems, management of essential IT operations, and ensuring a robust infrastructure.

In this position, you will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to relay project updates and accomplishments while overseeing hardware and software inventories and documenting workflows. You will be tasked with ensuring effective server management, supervising infrastructure elements, conducting system evaluations, and providing assistance for remote teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and solutions integral to broader business strategies.
  • Facilitate enhanced business processes and implement analytics for actionable insights.
  • Oversee remediation initiatives for security vulnerabilities.
  • Migrate legacy systems and applications to contemporary cloud solutions.
  • Manage critical IT operations and systems.
  • Maintain a reliable IT infrastructure and networking environment.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project progress and outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage hardware and software assets.
  • Document internal processes and procedures relevant to your responsibilities.
  • Administer cloud infrastructure and applications, including user/group management, security settings, and resource monitoring.
  • Ensure infrastructure requirements are met, including hardware and software updates.
  • Support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network connectivity.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems and processes.
  • Provide support for remote locations and teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in IT management.
  • Experience with federal government systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with NIST SP and security compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, including U.S. DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
  • Expertise in IT best practices, policies, and regulations, including ITIL.
  • Proficient in MS-365, MS Azure, and integration of external cloud applications.
  • Strong understanding of AWS administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud-based IT applications and digital security.
  • Solid grasp of client/server technology and network architecture.
  • Potential requirement for government clearance up to TS/SCI for future projects.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Experience with IaaS/PaaS platforms (MS-365, Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with various operating systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Linux.
  • Experience with help desk systems (Jira preferred).
  • Compliance knowledge of NIST SP-800 and CMMC.
  • Experience with federal government systems is a plus.
