Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee various civil engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, grading, stormwater management, drainage, erosion control, and sewer design.
- Utilize Civil 3D software to produce detailed and precise designs and models.
- Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and obtaining required approvals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.) to inform project planning and design.
- Develop and implement project plans and schedules, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and risks to stakeholders, providing solutions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a recent emphasis on project management.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
- Extensive knowledge of grading, stormwater management, drainage, erosion control, and sewer design.
- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adept at solving complex problems and making informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
