Oncology Patient Navigator

Thompson Cancer Survival Center in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Oncology Patient Navigator to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

About the Role:

The Oncology Patient Navigator will provide comprehensive support to patients with cancer, ensuring seamless coordination of care and access to necessary resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support, treatment access, education, and coordination of patient-centered care to benefit patients, families, and multidisciplinary physicians.
  • Assist patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and the resources available.
  • Educate patients about their disease, prescribed treatment, and side effects of treatment and how to manage them.
  • Advocate on behalf of the patient.
  • Oversee and participate in all multidisciplinary cancer conferences.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years oncology experience.
  • Valid Tennessee RN license. Oncology certification preferred at time of hire or must be working toward obtaining the OCN within three (3) years of employment.
