Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a Clinic Navigator at University Pulmonary & Critical Care located within the UT Medical Center. This role involves assisting physicians with patient assessment, treatment, and coordination of care for patients with pulmonary conditions.

About the Role

The Clinic Nurse will be responsible for coordinating outpatient clinic processes, developing protocols, and managing prescription medication. Additionally, they will facilitate patient transitions from inpatient to outpatient care and provide nursing education to staff.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate outpatient clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols to improve patient outcomes and streamline processes.
  • Manage prescription medication, ensuring accurate dosing and minimal adverse reactions.
  • Facilitate patient transitions from inpatient to outpatient care, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Provide nursing education to staff on outpatient and inpatient procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • At least six months of experience in a similar clinical setting.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
