Job Title: Lead TeacherJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, planning engaging activities, and providing exceptional customer service to our families.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes
- Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment
- Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service
- Competitive salary range: $15 to $18/hr
- 40 hours of work per week
- Full support from our directors and resources to be successful in the classroom
- Paid holidays after 90 days and paid time off (PTO)
- No weekends and limited evening hours
- 401(k) with employer matching after 1-year-old employment
- $200 per month toward health insurance
- Scholarship participation for CDA and AA/BS in Early Childhood Education
- Continued focus on professional development through Goddard Systems University
- CDA, Associates, or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
- Is highly motivated and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working in teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively
- Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
