IT Support Specialist

This is a technical role that requires strong customer service skills. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support to internal associates of Engineered Floors, LLC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide desk-side and remote support to end-users, resolving technical issues and requests in a timely manner.
- Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability and compatibility.
- Maintain records of computer assignments and customer service calls, documenting and updating requests according to defined service level requirements.
- Manage technical documentation and perform administrative tasks related to computer operations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, escalating to next-tier support teams as needed.
- Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and support.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, supplemented by two years of experience in computer software user support and customer service.
- CompTIA A+ Certification is preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of basic business processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing changing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
This role requires working in an office environment, on-site at a workstation/computer for the full shift. The position involves standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
