About the Organization:

We are the Justice Information Technology Services (JITS) team within the State of Montana's Department of Justice. Our team is essential in providing robust IT infrastructure that supports state and local law enforcement agencies. We are a collaborative group that significantly impacts the services provided to approximately 900 DOJ employees and over 3,000 Criminal Justice Information Network (CJIN) users statewide. Our work encompasses various critical areas, including legal case management, victim services, consumer protection, and forensic laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of project managers and systems analysts, ensuring effective project execution and alignment with organizational goals. Foster a collaborative environment by maintaining transparency and coordinating resources for ongoing projects. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency. Monitor and report on the Project & System Support Portfolio, providing insights to senior management. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to project strategies. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT project management and systems analysis.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years of project management experience, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity. Professional certifications such as PMP are highly desirable.
