Speech Language Pathologist Pediatric Outpatient Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients of all ages with a range of communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for augmentative and alternative communication devices
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program
• Pennsylvania License in Speech Therapy or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate with fully met credentials
• Ability to stand and walk occasionally, sit frequently
• Ability to lift/carry 0-10 frequently, 11-50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently, 21-75 lbs occasionally
• Ability to climb occasionally, reach constantly
• Ability to use hands for simple/firm grasping
