  • Assist clients in defining and achieving their personal recovery goals through structured planning.
  • Provide guidance and support in executing tasks outlined in individual recovery plans, focusing on areas such as employment, education, and community engagement.
  • Empower clients by helping them understand and exercise their rights.
  • Engage in recovery-oriented interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Facilitate the development of community networks and activities that promote integration and wellness.
  • Deliver training and instruction in recovery management techniques to clients and their families.
  • Act as a peer health navigator, encouraging participation in wellness activities.
  • Support clients in accessing necessary resources and services that align with their recovery needs.
  • Attend medical and clinical appointments with clients to provide peer support.
  • Organize and lead workshops on recovery and wellness topics.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of six months of experience in the mental health or substance use recovery field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of community support systems and recovery management techniques.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
