Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in defining and achieving their personal recovery goals through structured planning.
- Provide guidance and support in executing tasks outlined in individual recovery plans, focusing on areas such as employment, education, and community engagement.
- Empower clients by helping them understand and exercise their rights.
- Engage in recovery-oriented interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Facilitate the development of community networks and activities that promote integration and wellness.
- Deliver training and instruction in recovery management techniques to clients and their families.
- Act as a peer health navigator, encouraging participation in wellness activities.
- Support clients in accessing necessary resources and services that align with their recovery needs.
- Attend medical and clinical appointments with clients to provide peer support.
- Organize and lead workshops on recovery and wellness topics.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of six months of experience in the mental health or substance use recovery field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of community support systems and recovery management techniques.
- Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
