Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gage Standards Specialist to join our team in Columbus, GA. As a Gage Standards Specialist, you will be responsible for performing layout evaluations on gages, parts, tools, fixtures, and research requests. You will also calibrate a wide variety of gages from simple hand tools to complex part-specific gages.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform layout evaluations on gages, parts, tools, fixtures, and research requests
* Calibrate a wide variety of gages from simple hand tools to complex part-specific gages
* Apply knowledge of higher-level mathematics, including trigonometry, algebra, and geometry, to complex situations and applications
* Use and apply multiple layout tools on a daily basis to work to tolerances of +/-

Requirements:

* HS Diploma or GED
* U.S. citizenship is required
* 2-year associate degree or work-related experience required
* 5 years of manufacturing experience, or quality technical training
