Dishware Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Dishware Specialist to join our team at PURE Taqueria. As a key member of our kitchen staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in our dishwashing area.

• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
• Monitor the dishwashing machine and perform regular maintenance tasks as needed.
• Handle and store dishes, glasses, utensils, and cooking equipment with care, minimizing breakage and waste.
• Dispose of trash and waste properly, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in pre-shift preparation duties, such as setting up equipment and supplies.
• Clean and maintain the dish and prep areas throughout the shift, including floors, counters, and storage areas.
• Provide responsive, friendly, and courteous service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Be available to assist other team members as needed, supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Clock in and out accurately, adhering to posted schedules.

• No prior restaurant experience required, but a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly are essential.
• Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop as needed, with the capacity to safely lift bags, cases, and dish racks weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Capacity to work effectively while standing for up to 10 hours per day.
