About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Refrigeration Systems Specialist to join our team at Panasonic Corporation of North America. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance procedures on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained temperature-controlled merchandisers.
  • Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Develop first-line customer relations and identify potential sales opportunities by conducting rapid and accurate diagnoses of complex system issues.
  • Inventory Management: Manage truck inventory, including ordering, receiving, billing out, and maintaining parts responsibly with minimal waste.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete necessary documents and electronic communication in a thorough, accurate, professional, and timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the field or 5 years with certification from a technical school.
  • A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of basic maintenance tasks and use of hand tools.
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification.
