Compensation and Benefits.

The hourly wage for this position is $21.25. GXO Logistics, in good faith, believes this is the appropriate pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. The actual pay may vary and is subject to change. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and additional benefits for eligible employees.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and conveyors to load and unload materials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of packaging, routing, and systems tasks.
  • Engage in and guide the team in Lean warehousing practices.
  • Follow established procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • Perform all work safely and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Participate in collaborative activities with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment and using handheld scanners.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including potential overtime.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Physical Requirements:

This role necessitates the ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Handle objects of diverse shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull as needed.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Manage tools or equipment effectively.
  • Demonstrate various visual capabilities, including close and distance vision.
  • Adapt to varying temperature conditions in the warehouse.
