Typical Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

You will contribute significantly to our team, assisting in delivering advanced supply chain solutions to our clientele. Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly wage for this position is $21.25. GXO Logistics believes this reflects the appropriate compensation for this role at the time of posting. The actual pay may vary, and this rate is specifically for positions within New Jersey. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and additional benefits for eligible employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and unload materials using various equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and conveyors.
  • Ensure that packaging, routing, and system tasks are executed accurately and promptly.
  • Engage in and lead team activities in the Lean warehousing system.
  • Complete assignments by adhering to established protocols.
  • Perform all tasks with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Participate in collaborative activities with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience in operating material handling equipment and utilizing handheld scanners.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including potential overtime.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to:

  • Lift frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally over 75 lbs.
  • Handle objects of diverse shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull as necessary.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Manage tools or equipment effectively.
  • Demonstrate various visual capabilities, including close and distance vision.
  • Adapt to varying temperature conditions in the warehouse.
