Compensation and Benefits.

The hourly wage for this position is $21.25. GXO Logistics, in good faith, believes this is the appropriate pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. This rate may be adjusted in the future. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and additional benefits for eligible employees.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and unload materials using various equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and conveyors.
  • Ensure that packaging, routing, and systems tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Engage in and lead the team in Lean warehousing practices on the floor.
  • Complete assignments by adhering to established protocols.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
  • Participate in collaborative activities with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

At a minimum, you will need:

  • One year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment and utilizing a handheld scanner.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules with potential overtime.
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Handle objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Manage tools or equipment effectively.
  • Adjust focus and demonstrate various types of vision.
  • Tolerate varying warehouse temperatures.
