Role Overview:

In this position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and evaluating operational changes, work assessments, methodologies, material utilization, and training initiatives aimed at enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.

Your contributions will support the distribution sector through various established reports and initiatives designed to boost productivity, expand distribution capabilities, minimize costs, maximize throughput, and ensure a safe working environment through comprehensive data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and disseminate key operational metrics while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the implementation of innovative concepts to optimize workflow and layout within distribution centers.
  • Monitor current forecasts and analysis reports to help determine staffing needs aligned with budget and productivity objectives.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for project proposals.
  • Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to fulfill business requirements.
  • Provide training support to operational partners as necessary.
Qualifications:

1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred, ideally with a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field, along with experience in Distribution Center Operations.

Skills required include:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while recognizing interdependencies and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in utilizing data and information to propose budgetary solutions.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, WMS, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Effective presentation capabilities.
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
