We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Hospitality Management. As a leading institution in the field, we are committed to providing students with a world-class education that prepares them for success in the hospitality industry.

About the Position
  • Teach undergraduate courses in Hospitality Management, including Data Analytics and Technology, Tourism, and Lodging Management
  • Develop new courses as needed to meet the evolving needs of the industry
  • Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
  • Engage in service to the university, community, department, and profession
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in Hospitality Management courses, including Data Analytics and Technology, Tourism, and Lodging Management
  • Develop and implement new courses and programs to meet the needs of the industry
  • Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals to advance the field of Hospitality Management
  • Engage in service to the university, community, department, and profession through committee work, community outreach, and professional development
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or terminal degree in hospitality management or a closely related field
  • At least one degree specifically in hospitality or tourism management
  • Demonstrated record of outstanding classroom teaching and ability to connect with undergraduate students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with discipline-specific organizations in the region
  • Interest in actively participating in students' experiential learning opportunities
  • Evidence of successful publications in peer-reviewed journals and a 3-5 year plan for an active scholarship agenda
  • Professional work experience at the managerial level within the hospitality industry or closely related field
