Lead Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Field Engineer to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our field commissioning team, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and optimization of building automation systems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
* Serve as a local contact for technical issues and provide effective solutions for complex system problems.
* Provide turnkey project delivery on medium to large projects and ensure that systems operate properly, including controls, sensors, and software.
* Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports, and implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer and provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* 4+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a technical field.
* Valid and current Driver's License and ability to be insurable by the company's insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree, Associate Degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or a related field.
* Proficient with advanced building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.
* Ability to navigate and integrate into a variety of building automation systems and expert with TCP/IP networks, including wireless technology.
* Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines.
* Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
* Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
