Role SummaryThe Director of Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is expected to possess substantial experience in facilitating therapeutic groups and demonstrate a thorough understanding of dual diagnosis and mental health disorders within a partial hospitalization framework. This role necessitates the capacity to operate autonomously, manage crises effectively, and navigate various levels of psychiatric care. The Director is a master's level clinician with specialized knowledge in treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead clinical meetings and staff discussions.
- Oversee chart audits and ensure the accuracy of patient documentation.
- Supervise clinical personnel and guide graduate students.
- Maintain a manageable caseload of four to five patients, contingent on census.
- Conduct patient evaluations; develop diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge strategies.
- Execute utilization reviews.
- Facilitate group sessions addressing mental health and substance use challenges.
- Ensure adherence to standards set by external credentialing organizations, including insurers and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with insurance entities to meet requirements.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to determine appropriate care levels for patients.
- Perform both administrative and clinical tasks.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education: A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience in addiction or mental health treatment programs, particularly in a Partial Hospital Program or group counseling setting, is essential. Supervisory experience of one to two years is also required.
Skills: Exceptional interpersonal abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Licenses and CertificationsRequired: LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC.
