Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic team at Revolution Medicines. As a key member of our HR leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business success through strategic HR initiatives and partnerships.
About the OpportunityThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. As a Senior Director, HRBP, you will report to the Vice President, HRBP, and partner with business leaders to drive and facilitate various initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, workforce and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities- Operate as a trusted advisor and build relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
- Conduct deep and thorough diagnosis on organizational structure and leadership assessment to ensure the business functions are scaled for long-term success.
- Coach leaders on effective change management strategies and interventions, including development and implementation of strategies that will enable the function to thrive through periods of change.
- Act as a trusted member of the leadership team(s) to guide leaders, support teams, and build awareness and engagement of functional or organizational initiatives and programs.
- Provide support addressing employee relations and investigation concerns in accordance with internal policies and local/ regional legislation.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and business to ensure effective and timely delivery of HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition team and functional leaders to execute recruitment strategies and grow talent and technical capability pipelines in support of the business.
- Embody Revolution Medicines' core values to create a cohesive, collaborative, and engaging workplace and participate in initiatives that support our culture-based programs.
- 12+ years of progressive HRBP experience in a high-growth company with a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience working in a small and mid-size biotech organization is a must.
- Good biotech or pharma business acumen and ability to translate strategic priorities with organizational effectiveness and development, capabilities, and interdependencies.
- Proven strategic HRBP focus of aligning culture with business goals, displaying strong consultative, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience building strong partnerships across functional teams and at all levels of leadership with excellent collaboration, influencing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Forward thinking, ability to exercise good judgment, and make decisions that are appropriate for the organization.
- Accustomed to working in a matrixed and dynamic environment where accountability, change agility, flexibility, urgency, and responsiveness are valued.
- Good project management skills with the ability to manage big projects or program implementations, including development of clear timelines/milestones.
- Strong analytical capabilities (including Excel skills), effective at diagnosing organizational issues and demonstrated skill in use and application of data to address issues.
- Strive for continuous improvement and embrace innovative ideas in daily work.
- Experience as an HRBP at a similarly sized biotech company, with rapid growth and first NDA / Commercialization.
- Experience defining and building processes across the HR function to support cross-functional HR effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, legislation, and best practice.
We offer a competitive salary range of $240,000 to $286,000, with an individual's position within the range influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, location, and market dynamics.
