Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
    • Supervise hourly employees engaged in the manufacture of electro-optical systems, ensuring that established build plans are executed on schedule and within budget.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Ensure that all products meet quality and compliance standards, including customer expectations, deliverables, and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead and motivate a team of production employees to achieve company goals and objectives.
    • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Interface daily with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and other functions to request support and/or provide updates.
    • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and customers to ensure seamless production operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent, minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or business, is a plus.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive self and team to meet goals and objectives.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Familiarity with Visio and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Additional Requirements
