Product Development Lead

Amcor is seeking a Product Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the planning process of new products and/or improvements to existing products. This includes focusing on project concerns such as cost, completion dates, resource allocation, quality/reliability, budget allocation, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning process of new products and/or improvements to existing products
  • Develop and implement resource plans to ensure proper resources are allocated for successful completion of projects
  • Provide technical leadership to various engineering projects and coordinate across all disciplines
  • Develop and manage project budgets
  • Make decisions and set direction based on financial measures and strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; packaging discipline preferred
  • 8 or more years of experience working with injection and blow molding equipment, tooling, and processing
  • Deep technical knowledge in this industry, and understanding of industry trends and how they apply to customers
  • Travel 50%
