Production Assembler

Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, is seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical, and/or optical parts through hand tools or fixturing, soldering electrical components, and working closely with manufacturing engineering and production line leadership to meet production goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing electronics and opto-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework with minimal supervision.
- Performing repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Following standard operating instructions (SOPs), including work instructions, assembly instructions, process flows, and/or test plans.
- Performing in-process inspections and raising concerns as required.
- Providing support to resolve production flow issues.
- Working closely with engineers and management to meet production goals.
Requirements for this role include:
- Assembly experience in electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, or optical assembly.
- Basic understanding of general/common hand tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to adapt and thrive when priorities change.
- Ability to work alone and with others, with self-motivation and a can-do attitude.
- High school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hand soldering experience considered a plus.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment considered a plus.
