Position Overview:
The Accounting Technician will be instrumental in facilitating the daily functions of the Finance Department. Key responsibilities will encompass handling deposits, overseeing accounts receivable, assisting with accounts payable processes, and providing essential accounting support across various teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process and document deposits from diverse sources
  • Generate monthly billing statements and accounts receivable reports
  • Conduct accounts receivable collection efforts
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and execute account adjustments
  • Record all cash transactions and prepare journal entries
  • Assist with accounts payable processes and manage check disbursements
  • Support general ledger maintenance and contribute to monthly financial closing
  • Provide accounting support to project managers and operational staff
  • Assist the membership team with processing dues payments
  • Address issues and perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in financial and accounting software
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

This position is classified as non-exempt and offers flexible work-from-home options.
