Job Title: IT Financial Operations Specialist

At Crescens, we are seeking an experienced IT Financial Operations Specialist to support the fiscal, budgetary, and accounting operations for our IT program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial analysis and forecasting, as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal team members and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of the annual plan for the agency's IT budget requests and manage the department's expenditures.
  • Analyze projects, infrastructure, and applications to validate and/or control cost.
  • Perform monthly program/project expense forecasting and analysis, and assist with the review and analysis of the monthly Infrastructure (VITA) bill.
  • Provide financial analytical support on new business initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Prepare cost/variance reports on a project and product line level basis.
  • Develop and distribute consolidated monthly project financial reports.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience with the Cardinal financial system.
  • General knowledge of accounting practices and financial management.
