Job Summary:

Quirch Foods is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Match customer bills with carrier bills, validate and reconcile vendor invoices, and ensure accurate costing of carrier truckloads to individual orders.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and reconcile financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate financial reports, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • AP and Payables: Process accounts payable, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and update financial systems, including AS400, to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Accounts Payable Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and financial analysis.
  • Financial Analysis Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software, including AS400, and able to learn new systems quickly.

Desired Skills:

  • AS400 Experience: Experience with AS400 financial systems, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Interline/Costing Experience: Experience with interline and costing, including carrier truckload costing and vendor management.
