About the Role

The Copper River Family of Companies is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various components and vessels using aluminum and steel materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate welding equipment to fabricate and assemble components and vessels
  • Prepare and assemble components using various tools and equipment
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings to lay out patterns on materials
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other fabrication equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized fabrication area
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Aluminum welding and fabrication experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fabricating and assembling aluminum vessels and/or aluminum vessel components
  • Interpreting blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and weld schedules
  • Operating forklifts with certification
