Essential Responsibilities
The following duties are essential to the role, and additional responsibilities may be assigned:
- Ensure a safe working environment at the construction site
- Develop and manage the project schedule using MS Project, optimizing the sequence of tasks
- Oversee daily construction operations and coordination
- Guarantee compliance with safety standards, building codes, and best practices
- Direct and schedule subcontractor activities
- Interpret various types of plans, including architectural and structural
- Collaborate effectively with owners, consultants, and regulatory representatives
- Facilitate weekly subcontractor coordination and safety meetings
- Review and manage submittals and shop drawings
- Address field issues through the RFI process
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance
- Ensure all personnel adhere to OSHA and regulatory requirements
- Document daily site activities and conditions
- Proactively manage the project schedule
- Coordinate project inspections, permits, and approvals
- Oversee the billing process in collaboration with the project manager
- Perform other necessary functions to ensure a safe and high-quality project
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role involves coordinating with on-site resources, regulatory representatives, clients, design professionals, and subcontractors. Supervisory duties include training staff, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving issues in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications
- Valid driving record
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Familiarity with construction regulatory standards
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, Bluebeam, and Procore is required.

Education and Experience
A college degree is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
