Firehouse Subs Shift Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Firehouse Subs. As a Shift Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of our restaurant during scheduled shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in executing store operations, including deploying team members and delegating tasks to complete daily systems and procedures.
  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture and mission.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and accomplished on schedule.
  • Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner on any issues that may impact our business.

Requirements:

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft software and register skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
  • Ability to be mobile in walk-in freezer/cooler with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.
