Job Title: Procurement Manager

Join TMEIC Corporation Americas as a Procurement Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strategic thinking, leadership, and collaboration. As a key member of our Logistics & Procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a procurement organization that meets our Mid-Range Plan (MRP) commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the supplier qualification, selection, and recertification processes to ensure compliance with all Company metrics and global regulatory standards.
  • Build and lead a team of committed and capable employees to ensure successful procurement for the Company.
  • Develop and manage strategic sourcing relationships with key suppliers.
  • Lead negotiation of Master Service Agreements (MSA) with key suppliers for all project and identified non-project purchases.
  • Develop, implement, measure, and continuously improve methods to identify, optimize, measure, and monitor operational process quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure forecasts for future project and non-project supply demands are developed, communicated to suppliers, and fulfilled as committed.
  • Resolve supplier quality and on-time delivery issues in collaboration with business units.
  • Provide global product sourcing services for parent and group companies, as requested.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, materials management, operations management, or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
  • At least 5 years' procurement experience, with demonstrated experience in production and/or project-based businesses.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve business goals, increasing cost and service competitiveness, and negotiating contracts and T&C's.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical products with respect to client applications, material commodity knowledge, and successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and an ERP system, with availability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 15%, sometimes, with limited notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or MS degree in a field related to the Company's business.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the corporate procurement function with multiple locations.
  • Supply chain management experience, inventory management experience, freight experience, and Oracle business system experience.
