Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team at Trinity Consultants. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality client relationships through sales, project management, and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Air Quality Project Management: Ensure that air quality projects are completed correctly, on time, and within budget. Develop and implement project plans, coordinate with project teams, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Assist with EPCRA reporting, hazardous waste management, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Develop and maintain SWPPP and SPCC plans, and ensure NPDES permitting requirements are met.
  3. Technical Expertise: Monitor, verify, and ensure the technical accuracy and quality of project-related work. Provide guidance to staff on technical matters and ensure efficient progress and timely completion of consulting projects.
  4. Business Development: Maintain business development relationships through sales calls and professional networking. Develop sales proposals for existing and prospective clients, and identify new marketing opportunities.
  5. Team Leadership: Directly supervise 1-3 employees in Environmental Consulting. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil Engineering, or related Atmospheric/Environmental Science. At least three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Must have regulatory, industry, and technical knowledge relating to permit applicability, emission inventories, air dispersion modeling, and federal and state permitting requirements.

Must have computer literacy, including basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software package.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
