Job Overview

Channel Personnel Services is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to lead capital projects from design through commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and experience in production/operations engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Design and Development: Generate heat and material balances, lead equipment specifications and design, optimize layout for safety and efficiency, and other scopes of works as required.
  • Project Execution and Management: Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, construction management, and contractor management for capital projects.
  • Risk Management: Participate in and lead HAZOPs and risk reviews to ensure process hazard analysis open/action items are adequately addressed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience as a process engineer in PSM covering chemical manufacturing facilities, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience leading capital projects $500K - $25MM+.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of chemical engineering concepts (thermodynamics, fluids, kinetics, etc.) and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
