Position Title: Therapeutic Program Manager
Department: Therapy Wellness
Reports To: Clinical Director
FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary: The Therapeutic Program Manager is responsible for providing strengths-based, trauma-informed, clinical, and administrative oversight to a diverse team of professionals, including both unlicensed and licensed staff, who deliver therapy and case management services.

Key Responsibilities: To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following tasks:

  • Assist in the strategic planning, development, and execution of therapy services.
  • Contribute to the formulation and enforcement of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide training, guidance, and assessment for both unlicensed and licensed staff engaged in therapy and case management.
  • Support therapists in managing their assignments and schedules in collaboration with the Administrative Team.
  • Review and evaluate clinical documentation including Intake Assessments, Treatment Plans, and Progress Notes.
  • Coordinate interpreter services and act as a liaison with external service providers.
  • Oversee the approval of timesheets for payroll processing.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding program and administrative directives.
  • Engage in discussions regarding challenging cases and provide constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate individual and group supervision sessions with therapists on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director on human resources and workplace issues.
  • Offer support to clinical staff during family meetings and case discussions.
  • Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with the California Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) and other regulatory standards.
  • Assist in establishing departmental goals and objectives for the year.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for both clients and staff.
  • Support the establishment of best practice guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Four to ten years of relevant experience in clinical supervision or related roles.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Licenses: Must hold a current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI).

Work Environment: The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, use hands for various tasks, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
