AEDD is seeking a highly skilled Development and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive fund-raising and marketing program to enhance the mission and vision of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to initiate and meet fundraising goals
  • Maintain charitable contribution transactions in various software systems
  • Attend volunteer auxiliary meetings and after-hour events
  • Create graphic designs and promotional materials for special events and programs
  • Develop and conduct program-related presentations and facility tours to increase awareness and promotion of AEDD
  • Prepare and distribute memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Responsible for mailings related to all Development Department communications
  • Assist in marketing AEDD's programs and services by attending school tours, transition fairs, and outreach opportunities
  • Distribute incoming mail and messages
  • Assist with AEDD's social media posts, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Responsible for assisting the Director of Development with special event tasks to meet fundraising goals
  • Responsible for all aspects of multipurpose building availability and usage
  • Reconcile monthly fundraising income and expenses with AEDD's accounting department reports
  • Responsible for purchasing promotional and development materials, event supplies, training materials, and materials tied to awarded grants
  • Order, receive, and maintain inventory for the multipurpose building
  • Assist the CEO in preparation of quarterly board meetings and other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field, or 7+ years' experience as a Development Director or Coordinator
  • First Aid/CPR certification, Arkansas Driver's License, and Auto Liability insurance
  • CFRE certification preferred, but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively through well-written correspondence, memos, and email
  • Ability to speak well and present AEDD in a positive manner
  • Ability to use discretion and independent judgment to develop and execute complex marketing and fundraising plans
Work Environment:

The work environment is moderate, with occasional travel by automobile and exposure to changing weather conditions.
