Position Purpose:
The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively plan and manage turnaround and shutdown operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in alignment with established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist in gathering and challenging work scopes as part of the Managed Equipment Care process.
- Verify and detail work activities based on the approved Turnaround Work List.
- Evaluate job requirements to develop optimal turnaround strategies focusing on cost-effectiveness and safety.
- Prepare material lists for assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery prior to unit shutdown.
- Compile comprehensive work packages that include essential information for planning and execution.
- Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure seamless execution of turnaround activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractors during execution phases.
- Oversee environmental compliance measures throughout the turnaround process.
- Maintain quality standards for all work conducted in the assigned area.
- Provide daily updates on work progress and manage turnaround documentation.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
