Job Title: Staff Rotating Equipment EngineerJob Summary:

As a Staff Rotating Equipment Engineer at PEMEX Deer Park, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our refinery's rotating equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing long-term maintenance care strategies, performing proactive technical monitoring, and providing quality assurance for repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement equipment care strategies to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Perform technical monitoring and analysis to identify potential issues and defects.
  • Provide quality assurance for repairs and ensure that equipment meets required life cycle standards.
  • Identify and implement projects to improve safe operation, long-term maintenance costs, and machine efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and turnarounds teams to ensure seamless execution of critical work processes.
  • Develop and maintain equipment files, including documentation of repairs, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  • Participate in process hazards analysis and provide technical expertise to support the development of safe operating procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to rotating equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the industry, preferably in refinery and chemical manufacturing facilities.
  • Strong design and troubleshooting skills on turbo machinery maintenance/overhauls using best practices and industry standards.
  • Experience with rotating equipment support for operation and maintenance, including surge testing and vibration diagnostics.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery safeguarding methodologies and safety critical systems/shutdowns.
  • Experience with relationship and contract management of OEM's and contractors.
  • Experience in HSSE and quality management.
