Director, Portfolio Management

PlayStation Global is seeking a seasoned leader to drive our Portfolio Management strategy and team. As Director, Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for creating and driving our product development portfolio management framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and grow a team to establish and drive a consistent portfolio management framework and process for PlayStation's global product portfolio and future investments.
  • Collaborate with product development leaders across cross-functional areas to drive seamless execution of the product portfolio strategy.
  • Analyze key performance indicators to report portfolio performance and inform investment decisions.
  • Establish and maintain a robust change management and governance process that engages senior leaders to validate and assess the portfolio.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks and challenges within the portfolio.
  • Contribute to the establishment of common practices and templates for portfolio and project management.
  • Lead and promote continual learning and process improvements to drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, complex product portfolios in a product development or related field.
  • Understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and collaborative team player with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and confirmed project management ability.
  • Ability to develop, motivate, and empower direct reports and peers to make appropriate portfolio-related decisions.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $218,700-$328,100 USD. This role is eligible for SIE's top-tier benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program, and coveted employee discounts for Sony products. This role also may be eligible for a bonus package.
