Registered Nurse FVR-5 DOU

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Definitive Observation unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to assigned patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to assigned patients in the Definitive Observation unit.
- Support and collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
- One year experience in a critical care setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
