Registered Nurse FVR-5 DOU

The Definitive Observation Unit (DOU) Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care to assigned patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
- One year of experience in a critical care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
