Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the field service operations for the assigned regions, specifically Arizona and Nevada.
  • Manage a team that includes service coordinators, estimators, and lead technicians.
  • Enhance the service portfolio to align with business growth and target market needs.
  • Maintain and evaluate the service estimate tool for the region, ensuring competitive technician compensation.
  • Collaborate with financial management to analyze service job performance against expectations.
  • Conduct reviews of service jobs with margins below 10%, adjusting pricing strategies as necessary.
  • Develop and implement product-specific service strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Identify essential capabilities required for the regional service organization to meet strategic goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor technician productivity and training needs through utilization schedules.
  • Establish and update safety protocols for regional service operations.
  • Support national safety initiatives and provide constructive feedback.
  • Complete annual OSHA 10 training for self and team members.
  • Drive improvements in utilization, revenue, and training across the organization.
  • Align service strategies with branch business unit objectives, collaborating with sales and branch management.
  • Work with business and finance leaders to develop the Annual Business Plan and adjust forecasts throughout the year.
  • Travel requirements range from 30% to 50% within the assigned region.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in field service management or related experience.
  • HVAC technical certification from an accredited institution.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Proficient with hand tools.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a complex organizational structure.
  • Adept at interpreting industry standards and technical specifications.
  • Strong digital proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, SharePoint, and SAP.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Safety training certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in basic mathematics for data verification.
  • Professional communication skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Comfortable operating 16' and 24' box trucks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster engagement and loyalty.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions.
