Job Title: Regional Chains Sales Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Chains Sales Manager to join our team at Pilgrim's. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth within our defined geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume and financial objectives within specified targets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key Regional Chain targets to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated customer business plans.
- Utilize Pilgrim's Sales Process (PSP) to develop and maintain relationships with key operators.
- Manage and maintain a robust pipeline to deliver upon KPIs.
- Negotiate program agreements with assigned operators as necessary.
- Support business development activities, including customer conventions and industry trade shows.
- Regularly collaborate with Sales leadership to develop regional operator strategies and execute national initiatives.
- Effectively manage MDF funds to support growth initiatives with key operators.
- Stay informed about key operator developments that may affect organizational results.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the food service industry, preferably within the poultry or overall protein industry.
- Key Regional Account relationships to drive immediate impact.
- Bachelor of Science degree required.
- Extensive travel required (estimated 50%+).
- Superior planning and organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with computer applications required.
