Position Overview

Leidos is looking for a dedicated college intern to assist the Talent Acquisition team within the Dig Mod Sector. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a corporate setting while deepening your understanding of Talent Acquisition processes. The intern will engage in hands-on professional development and collaborate with various Human Resources teams on diverse projects. (Candidates must be local and available for a minimum of 20 hours per week.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sector VP director and Talent Acquisition teams on specific projects.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development events related to HR and Talent Acquisition.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for recruitment outreach initiatives and local events.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts to enhance the company’s brand on targeted social media platforms.
  • Engage in sessions aimed at improving Human Resources and Talent Acquisition tools.
  • Help with file management and special projects as assigned.
  • Update recruitment systems and resolve issues as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate effectively on projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated flexibility, proactivity, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on oral and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong research and analytical skills using online resources.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a knack for offering alternative solutions.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Familiarity with staffing models and metrics tracking.
  • Understanding of the hiring process and its requirements.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $38, $69,325.00. This range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Various factors will be considered in extending an offer, including job responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity.
