Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant focused on the Provider ecosystem to support our Sales team in acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, sales experience, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue through engaging demonstrations and a thorough understanding of client use cases.
- Validate the accuracy and value of Definitive's data assets, primarily utilizing SQL.
- Collaborate with sales representatives as subject matter experts.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Medical Informatics, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Experience with Medicare and/or Commercial Medical Claims and Prescription Claims data.
- 2-10 years of experience in complex data management (Big data experience is a plus).
- 2-10 years of experience in analyzing healthcare performance metrics.
- Understanding of data requirements in the Provider ecosystem (Hospitals, Health Systems, Post-Acute care settings).
- Familiarity with medical terminology (DRG, ICD, HCPCS/CPT, NDC).
- Proficient in SQL (DataBricks preferred).
- Advanced skills in Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Ability to articulate the significance of solutions to business needs.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Capability to present technical topics to business audiences, both virtually and in-person.
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consulting within the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of Medical Economics or Healthcare Performance Indicators.
- Experience with EMR/HMR data such as Cerner or Epic.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python.
- Experience with modern Data Analytics/Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to analyze and forecast trends in medical costs to support healthcare data sales cycles.
