Job Overview

The Territory Sales Executive is tasked with achieving sales objectives and managing projects within their designated area. This role focuses on fostering new and ongoing business relationships with residential builders and other clientele, ultimately contributing to territory expansion and enhanced market presence for our stone veneer and masonry services. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this position is pivotal in driving profitable sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the achievement of revenue targets for the territory, engaging with B2B clients such as residential builders to promote our comprehensive stone solutions.
  • Focus on year-over-year growth in sales, acquiring new clients, and maintaining repeat business while building enduring relationships with customers.
  • Accountable for meeting financial objectives for the territory, including strategic initiatives and projects, while upholding safety, compliance, and integrity in all operations.
  • Follow territory guidelines to support regional goals, emphasizing continuous learning, prospecting, and the development of new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong customer-centric approach and demonstrate leadership across functions including national and commercial sales, order processing, estimating, and installation.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in sales, business, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Proven sales acumen and experience in B2B relationship management.
  • Background in the new construction or remodeling industry is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the residential builder sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated sales skills with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve key performance indicators and financial objectives.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Adaptable and resilient in the face of change.

The average earnings for this commission-based role typically range from $115,000 to $125,000, plus a car allowance and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual compensation influenced by skills, experience, and education.
