Position: Site Operations Manager

Location: Miami, FL

The Site Operations Manager will oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a secure work environment and enforcing safety standards.
  • Developing and refining project schedules, including two-week look-ahead plans.
  • Utilizing advanced scheduling software to update and manage project timelines.
  • Assisting in the procurement and selection of key subcontractors.
  • Coordinating the activities of subcontractors on-site.
  • Facilitating effective communication among owners, designers, and engineers.
  • Maintaining precise cost reports and project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction management across various project phases.
  • A degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Expertise in safety management, preconstruction processes, and client relations.
  • Strong skills in engineering and construction oversight.
  • Excellent communication abilities with project stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies.
  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting technical documents and specifications.
  • Ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Physical capability to handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in developing construction schedules using critical path methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing and coordinating work assignments, while assessing workforce performance.
  • Addressing and resolving on-site issues and complaints.
  • Providing insights on material selection and delivery schedules.
  • Conducting site inspections to identify and rectify unsafe conditions.
  • Ensuring quality control and adherence to safety programs.
  • Monitoring project costs, forecasting, and productivity metrics.
  • Inspecting ongoing work to confirm compliance with specifications and timelines.
  • Enforcing safety procedures related to workplace incidents.

Certifications:

  • CPR and First Aid Certification is advantageous.
  • 30-hour OSHA training is a plus.
