Position Overview:
SAIC is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Test Engineer to contribute to our efforts in supporting the US Navy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineering expertise for the creation of testing frameworks, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting related to engineering initiatives for the Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) program.
  • Deliver technical assistance for the assessment of both prototype and operational hardware and software systems.
  • Develop and facilitate laboratory and field testing events, including the collection and analysis of test data during and post-evaluation, as well as on-site support during testing phases.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary project team to devise innovative and effective solutions across various projects requiring electrical engineering input.
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple technical assignments across diverse projects.
  • Create, review, and maintain electrical schematics of varying complexity.
  • Engage effectively with clients to identify needs and propose suitable solutions.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with no prior experience required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Ability to efficiently report to management on task progress and updates.

Self-motivated with the capability to manage tasks while maintaining a strategic vision for long-term career and organizational growth.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen.

Must possess an interim secret clearance with the potential to obtain a full secret clearance; SAIC will assist in the clearance process.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with RF transmission and reception systems, along with electronic support measures. Experience in the operational facets of electronic warfare is advantageous.

Understanding of jammer system controls, signal processing algorithms, and concepts related to precision passive detection and tracking, as well as RF communication and modulation architectures.

Knowledge of design methodologies, tools, and principles involved in producing detailed technical plans, blueprints, and models.

Experience with software tools such as Matlab, Labview, and various programming languages including C.
