We are seeking a highly skilled Urology Advanced Practice Professional to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our Urology surgeons and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care plans and collaborate with consulting physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Carry out physician orders and maintain the continuum of care through coordination and integration of all phases of patient care.
- Evaluate care based on quality and core measures, access, and cost effectiveness, in partnership with the supervising physician.
- Contribute to excellence in patient care by focusing on age-specific, developmental, and spiritual needs, and serving as a role model in patient care, consulting, teaching, and leadership.
- NP Education: Master's Degree in clinical nursing from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program with emphasis on area of certification/licensure.
- NP Licensure: Current Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Michigan.
- PA Education: Requires graduation from an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
- PA Licensure: Current License/Certification as Physician Assistant with the State of Michigan.
- Experience: Prefer two to three years related experience.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Analytic skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to eighty percent of work time when planning and performing professional nursing care.
