Outpatient Clinics Overview

Corewell Health manages an extensive network of outpatient clinics throughout Michigan, providing a wide array of healthcare options to the communities we serve.

With over 40 distinct primary care and specialty practices, our clinics offer opportunities for professionals to explore various interests or to focus on specific areas of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves delivering healthcare services by applying x-ray technology to aid in diagnostic processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing medical imaging techniques and related procedures to visualize breast anatomy for assessment and/or intervention by licensed practitioners.
  • Assisting licensed practitioners during invasive procedures.
  • Providing appropriate patient care and recognizing essential patient conditions to ensure successful procedure completion.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Radiographer (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required upon hire.
  • Mammography (M) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required within one year.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
